Commonwealth Scholarship to Study in Malaysia
COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIP/FELLOWSHIP PLAN, MALAYSIA 2010
The scholarships are for studies at the Master’s level and PhD in Malaysia in the subject fields of business and finance and agriculture science. The tenure of the awards for Master’s degree r one to two years
depending on the courses and for PhD tenure is for three years. The scholarship covers a return air ticket from recipients capital city to Malaysia; an approved tuition fees by the respective university; maintenance allowance at the rate of RM 1200 per month; a yearly grant for books and internal travel; thesis allowance, installation and termination grant. No family allowance for accompanying spouse or children. Requirements: Indian nationals residing in India; completed Bachelors degree in the subject concerned indicated above with minimum 60% marks in business and finance and 65% in agriculture.
Age should not more than 45 years as on the date for submission of application. Application for admission to the university is solely the candidates responsibility. While proof of admission is not a pre-requisite to the award, the scholarship award does not guarantee a placement in the university.
