Commonwealth Scholarship to Study in Malaysia

COMMONWEALTH  SCHOLARSHIP/FELLOWSHIP PLAN, MALAYSIA 2010
The scholarships are for studies at the Master’s level and PhD in Malaysia in the subject fields of business and finance and agriculture science. The tenure of the awards for Master’s degree r one to two years
depending on the courses and for PhD tenure is for three years. The scholarship covers a return air ticket from recipients capital city to Malaysia; an approved tuition fees by the respective university; maintenance allowance at the rate of RM 1200 per month; a yearly grant for books and internal travel; thesis allowance, installation and termination grant. No family allowance for accompanying spouse or children. Requirements: Indian nationals residing in India; completed Bachelors degree in the subject concerned indicated above with minimum 60% marks in business and finance and 65% in agriculture.
Age should not more than 45 years as on the date for submission of application. Application for admission to the university is solely the candidates responsibility. While proof of admission is not a pre-requisite to the award, the scholarship award does not guarantee a placement in the university. CHEVENING HSBC SCHOLARSHIP 2010-11

The Chevening HSBC Scholarship offers three full scholarships for Indian citizens towards one-year Master courses at any accredited UK University. The priority subjects are banking, economics, sustainability and environmental studies. These are full scholarships covering tuition fees, flights to and from the UK and a contribution toward living costs. Requirements: Indian national with a valid Indian passport, of outstanding academic ability with a good first degree (a minimum of upper second class) or equivalent from a recognised Indian university, fluent in written and spoken English, wishing to study a Masters course at a UK institution for no more than 12 months. Applicants must identify a suitable Masters programme and apply for a course beginning in September / October 2010 and secure admission. Rio Tinto plc Chevening Scholarship

These scholarships are offered by Rio Tinto plc, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and CEPMLP as part of their partnership activities which acknowledge the importance of contributing to sustainable mineral resources development worldwide.
The scholarships are for the study of the one year Masters of Law (LLM) mineral law and policy at the University of Dundees Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP).
The scholarship covers both academic tuition fees and living expenses for 12 months.
Requirements: Applicants should hold a degree of an equivalent standard to at least a good UK second class honours degree, display intellectual ability and leadership potential, be a resident of India and have a proven track record and potential to rise to positions of influence and be able to demonstrate a high level of English language competence (minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent).
